Scientific American: A geomagnetic storm lit up skies over the US last night with a beautiful Aurora Borealis display, seen much further south than normal:

The resulting aurorae (aka the aurora borealis) could be seen in parts of more than half the 50 states, according to Spaceweather.com, where users reported sightings in distinctly non-Arctic locales such as Alabama, Virginia and Kansas.

Did anyone see this in Pennsylvania? Seeing & photographing the Aurora Borealis is on my short list of things I must do.
