Has anyone in Philadelphia seen the recent ads for Clear, supposedly a “new” internet provider in the area?
I have. I’ll admit, I was excited about the prospect of finally having the option of an alternative to Comcast.
Well, according to this Philebrity post, Clear is actually a partnership between Sprint and… you guessed it: COMCAST.
I, for one, am feeling more than a little misled. The only thing that’s clear around here is that Philadelphia residents are the losers in this.
I guess the city who sold its soul to Comcast will have to find another way to stick it to the man. In the mean time, I’ll have to keep paying $65 bucks a month for their shitty internet service.
